in Topaz Shimmer are flat back crystals where the reverse side of the crystal has been pre-coated with a heat-sensitive glue. Topaz is a warm and rich colour that is inspired by the natural hues of the topaz gemstone. It can be described as a deep golden-yellow or brownish-yellow hue with a warm, inviting quality. Topaz is a versatile colour that can be used in a variety of applications, including fashion, costume design, and jewellery. It pairs well with other warm colours like rust, olive, and burnt orange, as well as with neutrals like beige and cream. It can also be paired with cooler colours like blue and green to create a striking contrast. Shimmer is a softened version of the Aurora Borealis (AB) effect, giving a more subtle sparkling effect.
Swarovski hotfix flat back crystals are available in three types of cut: 2000 Rose Cut with 8 facets (SS3 and SS4); 2038 Xilion Rose Cut with 14 facets which optimises the light reflection of smaller sized crystals (SS5 to SS10); and 2078 Xirius Rose Cut with 16 facets and a unique star cut design which provides the ultimate brilliance (SS12 to SS48).
